Use it on damaged photos, not good ones
This is a repair tool. Measured on our own hardware, a degraded photo gained roughly 170% in face detail — and an already-sharp photo lost 96%, because the face is redrawn at a fixed size and pasted back. If your photo is already sharp, use Upscale.
It tells you when it did nothing
If no face is found, the photo comes back unchanged and you are told so, rather than being handed the same picture and left to wonder whether it worked.

Common questions
- Will it invent a different face?
- It rebuilds detail rather than replacing the person, but it is reconstruction — fine features can shift. For a photo that is merely small rather than damaged, upscaling is the more faithful choice.
- What if there is no clear face?
- Nothing happens and you are told. Face restoration needs a reasonably front-facing, unobstructed face.
How your files are handled
Everything is processed on hardware we own and operate — your prompts and photos are never sent to a third-party AI service. Uploads are deleted as soon as the job finishes, and results are erased automatically after a short retention period. Download anything you want to keep.
